[DeTomaso] Who was the fast guy in the blue Pantera on PCH?

I spotted a really nice blue Pantera on PCH this morning. Driver looked familiar but he ignored me.....his Pantera was definately traveling at terminal velocity...whatever that is....Dan explain terminal velocity for us. 
   
  Anyway even I couldn't keep up with him. I didn't have a radar gun but I pointed a thermal gun at his car as he sped by me like I was standing still and it  read 265....I quess that's MPH. 
   
  Anyway, beautiful day for a cruise by the ocean.
