Tommy,
Take a look at DaWg'S tractor tires before buying. I like the "look" of
the 16/17's but its true Y-rated rubber is hard to find for the 16's in
245/45.
Based on the DaWg's logic though, you should go straight for the
22-inchers. (He's looking for some spinners for his campies if you know
a source). Its just a matter of time..... ;)

NEW Guy Tom,
Going 16/17" old school huh?! ;-]>
Knowing your racing background like I do here's the reasons you want to
go 17/18". Within a couple years or less you will have increasing
difficulty finding W, Y or Z rated tires in 16" followed by 17". So
unless you are buying someone's existing 16/17" Campy wheels fogetboutit
unless you plan to stick a few in plastic bags. ;-]
Every slacker on this List is going to try and convince you 16/17 is the
way to go simply because they have them on their Pantera!!! Or that they
have the right "look"....... or that God wants you to have them for some
biblical reason.... but the facts are if you ain't running 15" REAL
Campy's go 17/18.....secondly there are several TALL 27" W, Y and Z
rated tires available for 18" rims....Pantera East, Wilkinson and
Precision Pro-Formance all sell great Campy clones.

number of vendors do reproduction Campy wheels in "modern" sizes and
chrome/polish. I have also seen the new versions that were penned by

I think I like the copies of the two slot originals and I believe I just
want to go 16/17.
I have NOT seen any of these in real life, so I'd like off-forum candid
emails about first hand viewing/owning these wheels. (recommendations
about brands/vendors)
Which look the best to you, etc...
Thanks,
Tom
