Mike,

Like I said, you must not have seen my garage.  My master bedroom is
right above the garage (with a fire pole right down to the Pantera in
case of emergency, just kidding) :).  There will be no mods to any
trusses (mostly because there aren't any trusses)! :)

So, with an 8-foot ceiling, that leaves 4 feet per car including the
lift thickness.  I guess I better make sure the antenna is down.  I'll
also have to take the roll-up garage door off.  Maybe French doors would
be nice???? :)

trusses in his garage to afford him more space directly above the 
lift....
