[DeTomaso] Intake installation tips?

Will,
Take a closer look, I think that hole goes nowhere. on the right bank,
it can't go anywhere because there isn't enough metal. On the left
bank, it's too high to hit the water jacket. Look more to me like a
couple of boss holes for something, but what I can't tell you. Kind of
like the two extra holes on the heads in my AMC(Kaiser) 327 that go
nowhere, they just fill up with dust, dirt, and crap.
The steam relief you are mentioning is usually (if I recall correctly)
drilled a bit lower into the end of the head to make sure it hits the
water jacket.
