Yes. It will also reduce clutch throwout travel, causing the synchroes in 
your ZF to drag and wear with each shift- if you can even shift the thing. 
Replacing worn synchroes is a monster job usually costing upwards of $1500, after 
the ZF is removed & sent to an overhaul place such as RBT Transmissions. This is 
why we say to add a smaller bore clutch slave that gives a longer throw. If 
yours is uncomfortably stiff, I suggest adding a long-throw slave and changing 
the clutch to either a 'softer' stock pressure plate, or a Centerforce 
diaphragm type. I've driven early Panteras with clutches apparently set up for pro 
drag racing and I agree, they are no fun to horse around in traffic. A stock or 
near-stock engine simply does not need that much clutch! Both the suggested 
pressure plates will reduce pedal pressure significantly, make driving more 
enjoyable & the long throw slave will extend ZF life. FWIW- J DeRyke
