[DeTomaso] transmission sleeve

Where could I get the rubber O ring that fits around the speedometer drive 
gear sleeve that slips into the transmission case, locally?  I have tried HD and 
a autoparts store.  Although both had the size #12, the O ring was 3/32 
thick.  I need one that must be about 1/32 thick, based on the old broken one.  I 
tried a #11 thinking it might get thinner as it stretched but no luck.  I 
thought of just wrapping string in the slot for now.  I hate to order just one of 
these O rings from a Pantera dealer.
