Subject: [DeTomaso] What happens when you ignore axle wear
Hi guys,
We've all known people with a bit of a wobble in their rear uprights;
most of us are properly concerned and fix it, but others choose to
ignore it, shrugging it off as simply worn wheel bearings.
It's never worn wheel bearings. It's actually the (hollow) axle
wearing through.
Here's what happens when you ignore it long enough:

Anybody know whose car this is?
Mike
