Hi Jeff,

I noticed on one of the forums you were trying to get information on the best carb for your Pantera...I just purchased a 72L...it has a Weber/Edelbrock Carb on it and a dual plane Edelbrock manifold. But it doesn't run that well and I'm pretty sure it's the carb because the rest of the motor was rebuilt by the previous owner and only has about 10 miles on it.

What did you go with and how do you like it.

Is the carb you went with a spread bore? Mechanical or vacuum secondaries? Did you have to modify the carb with power valves, etc.? What is you engine like...compression, cam, etc.?

I was really thinking about putting Webers on but realize there's too much to do to my current setup to make it run well, plus I hear they don't run that well on Clevelands due to the port size.

I plan on mostly street use, and some track events a few times a year.

Best regards,

Tom Borcich
