Kaase never mentioned it. I only had the intake, not the heads.
I was test fitting them to a 4V head. There have been some tests
that have shown little or no gain by port matching but I guess it
depends how far it's off. Ideally, on a wet flow intake, you want
a constant (small in the region of 1.5 to 3 degrees) taper angle
from the plenum to the head, without any abrupt area changes.
FWIW, there have been a couple of drag racers who have
struggled to go any faster with the CHI heads versus mildly ported
iron 4V heads and Strip Dominator intake.
