Thanks, Could you also post the long email to the Pantera Forum please?

>>>You got it.

Peter was having great difficulties getting his supercharged 4.6 liter
Cobra motored Pantera to run properly and asked for help finding local
(Nor-Cal) tuning sources. I reached out to the Nor-Cal Shelby Club,
who came up with several suggestions that I forwarded to Peter. This
was his reply to me after that...

Hello Mike,

I was able to make it to Rebello Racing with the Pantera yesterday and
wanted
to give you feedback on my experience....and it is positive! I pulled
in
with my trailer around 1:30 with no appointment. Brian greeted me and
immediately
started trying to sort out my car. He had his work cut our for him
since the
entire assembly was new, and never "functional" as a combination. He
"spoke"
with my laptop in languages I did not understand. Tables were
backwards,
settings were wrong etc. He corrected everything to the point the
computer (and
its
limited sensors) thought is was dialed. We hopped in for a test drive,
pulled
out of the parking lot, sped up to 20 mph..........and starved for
fuel. Back
to the shop. It was now about 5 pm. I figured I was done for the day
and back
on the trailer.

Out came more test equipment and a bit later it was determined that the
new
fuel pump was faulty. It was removed from the car and tested on "the
bench".
The pump produced a few funny sounds, a stream, then a trickle followed
by a
spark, 11 foot high flames, singed arms, flaming shoes, etc. I ran for
the only
fire extinguisher I saw and attempted to put out the flames. I grabbed
the one
from the recharge pile instead of one of the half dozen fully charged
and
clearly marked located strategically around the shop. Fortunately, 2
other
"thinking" people produced functional fire extinguishers and put out
the flames
before any catastrophic damage was done.

I figured we were done for sure and they would never want me back near
their
shop, but they were not to be defeated by a faulty fuel pump even if it
was
after hours. They located a new one, picked it up, installed it, and
produced
the results we were hoping for all day. It was somewhere around 8 pm
when we
finished my car and Brian began tuning the car that was waiting
patiently to be
prepped for a trip to LA the following day.

It is refreshing to find people who take pride in their work, have
passion
for their sport, and show respect and concern for their customers. I
would pay a

premium for that kind of service but even the bill was very reasonable
considering the effort and results.

Thank you both for directing me to David and Brian Rebello. I will be
passing
on the referral.

Sincerly

One very Happy Pantera owner
