[DeTomaso] shipping tires

To add to what others have posted, I recently sent 8 tires via UPS from 
Baltimore to Oklahoma City. The tires were of varing sizes but averaged 
about $35 each. I have received tires shipped from Tire Warehouse with 
nothing but a shipping lable. I tried this but was charged an additional 
$8 when I tried to ship in a like manner. Putting them in a box 
eliminated the premium but I had to purchase the box. I am of the 
opinion that regular shippers are given different consideration than a 
happy home owner.
