You gonna have to find a specialist for that. I think it's alcohol that was
inside, or, as you suggest, something not air.
One company I've heard of is "Nisonger"...but I've yet to have any work done
there so cannot vouch for them. Also, they seem to have a "Cobra fixated"
website now, no mention of repairing capillary gauges...though I'm fairly
certain they used to do this.

But their price to repair a capillary gauge is more than their price of a

Is your broken gauge not cheaply available new?

His some body knows haw to repair a capillary T° gauge ? The capillary is
broken at the junction with the probe, I remove the end on it (just tinned)
and I tinning welded, the capillary, nothing works. May-be there is a
special gas inside? I tried to blow in the capillary but the needle of the
gauge didn¹t move.
