[DeTomaso] A-arm Zerk Fittings

Did you drill into the tie rod ends throught top / opposite the taper?  The
reason I ask in only yesterday I was drilling farther and farther into a
non-P tie rod end and never reached a point where I could get grease in.
It's like I've only reached a chamber that doesn't "communicate" with the
ball/socket/boot area.

BUT, whatever it is I'm drilling into, it moves with the ball (!).  Maybe I
need to drill in from the side...or give up.  I've got several spares of
this part, but no power hack or bandsaw to section one.

All thoughts / experience welcome.
