Got a couple of computer crises going on. I'm trying to keep this Pentium I
going as long as possible, while migrating my e-mail to a "new" Pentium 4.

Question 1: The Pentium 4 is connected to Comcast cable via a network card.
This computer also has a modem. My plan is to download the Prodigy dial up
software onto that computer, set up my e-mail identities identically in
Outlook Express, start using that machine to dial up and read my e-mail.
Any flies in this ointment?

Question 1A: What's the difficulty level of moving all my old e-mail,
inbox, sent, address book, to the new machine?

Question 1B: I sometimes use "maillink" to read mail off-site. But replies
and new mails created in maillink don't get archived on my local machine.
Are they stored anywhere? Someplace I can move them from to my local
machine?

Question 2: On this machine, the old Pentium 1, my Internet Explorer
suddenly isn't showing the top three toolbars, no "file", etc; no "forward /
back, refresh", etc; and no address line. Short of paying the $35 per
incident fee with MS, any thoughts? One by one, features keep breaking this
machine, and it's too slow to run McAfee anymore.

Thanks,

Guy D.
