I had my car stripped a couple months ago, and it needs more work than I expected (you can stop laughing now ) I have pretty much worked out a deal to buy a late 71 body that has had all the metal work done, and will move my project along significantly, and I an selling the 72 body. My thanks to Larry in Ohio for crawling over the 71 for 3 to 4 hours today.

If someone (hopefully in Southern California so they can look at it) has metal skills and time, it could be a good deal. I also have a lot of duplicate parts I can throw in, suspension, etc., maybe $1000 worth of stuff.

The body has the usual rust damage, but has been stripped so you can see what you're getting. There was damage to the rear left quarter panel which was poorly repaired. I'd guess the rockers should be pulled, but that's my opinion. It needs a lot of the expected metal patching. The front end looks good, the doors are OK. The bare metal has been coated with Piclix (SP?) 20 and is ready to start working on.

The body is at a shop in Huntington Beach. I will put it on ebay in a week or two, and who knows what some fool would pay? I really much prefer to sell it to someone who actually sees it.
