[DeTomaso] Andy at Le Mans Classic: what an experience !

Stopped moving...not happy... ???
No way, I will be more than happy to see those pics, especially with my
deluxe mechanics pushing alltogether on the pitlane.
You know, we had an ATL gas tank with 62 liters ( you said gallons ??? ) and
the car is taking about 100 liters per hour...Mathematically, we had
expected the empty tank. I saw a long forum about gas mileage a while ago,
and now, it makes me laugh a little bit, as you can figure out. Still , the
car had moved 13 places ahead in the last session ( 25th overall ) before it
ran out of gas.
Unfortunately, as the car arrived late from NYC, we had no time to order and
change the tank, and didn't want to cheat... Question of self respect and
courtesy to those who are fair players.
After all, it is sport and fun, right ?
Happy you enjoyed and had a great time at Le Mans Classic. See you in two
years, or , preferably, earlier, may be in Spain.
