I don't think it would look silly. My Pantera currently has BFG Comp TA 205/60VR15 tires on the front and BFG Euro TA 305/50VR15 tires on the rear. The sidewall height between the two appears very proportional, in my opinion, and the Avon tire dimensionally is very similar to my front tire. You can see how mine looks at these links:

Following are the differences between my front tire and the Avon front tire size:
Tire 1: 205-60-15 (my Pantera w/BFG)
Tire 2: 215-60-15 (Avon)

Totals are in inches Tire 1 Tire 2 Difference
Sidewall Height: 4.04 5.08 .24
Section Width: 8.07 8.46 .39 
Overall Diameter: 24.69 25.16 .47
Circumference: 77.55 79.03 1.48
