[DeTomaso] A/C hose question

I agree with Dave.  I bought and installed all new hoses from PPC (Reno)
in my car a couple years ago at a PCNC tech session with Larry.  He
added "special" soft copper rings to the flare fittings thinking they
would seal better, but they leak like a sieve.  Go with the o-rings if
you have a choice.

Depends on the car.  Ford used Flares on R12 and GM used Orings for R12.
