Told ya! :)

The military still uses Castle for practice approaches, so there is some
pretty big stuff flying around there.

It would be a shame to "bother" those inmates with car noise.

Yesterdays paper stated the correctional facility nearby plans to file a
suit to stop the project citing "noice and enviromental" issues. I am
still waiting for my blood pressure to go back down.

Its hard to imagine a more fed-up state than the republic of Kalifornia.
You're probably right, they will have some lame noise limit that will
ultimately close this new track in a year or two.

If its anything like airport laws, the city council will authorize a
daycare and senior center right next door and then all the new residence
will sue the city to reduce the noise claiming that their realtor never
told them about the track noise!

I hope they put sound limits on the airport as to not drowned out the
good 
sounding cars. I am sure you must have 10 or 20 laws on that stuff out
