I noticed my car held the road much better after the deck lid flew off along the Silver State course.
Would you suggest louvers or other opening in the rear deck lid for venting?

BWAHAHAHA.....Sorry Crazy Dan,
I was too busy figuring out why my fan belt broke! ;-]> I also remember you standing on the side of the road with the "WE RAN OUT OF GAS" sign when Dick and I stopped. ;-]> BTW, did you call Steve Waldman back after that cowboy found your decklid???
I'm planning to tech and run up to 180 on the SilverState ORR straights next month and see how the latest aero mods help out on that road. My mommy (jb) says I can't go 200 mph on a 2-lane road but like some of you who want to push the envelope I am always looking for added stability at high speed. The Pantera is such a bitch.

Not counting engine (s) I've added 6-rows of reverse louvers to the rear deck lid....I also dropped the air dam an additional 2" and added a spliter on the bottom and also had Dick add an additional strip of heavy rubber belt that is 1" off the ground on the bottom and sides...the rubber belt is self sacraficing. There will also be a partial belly pan but the biggest noticable improvement in high speed handling up to 180 MPH aero wise was just venting air PRESSURE out the modified Gurney-flaped Carbon hood. I'm not even sure I need as much air dam now as I once did but one thing is for sure and that is speeds above 180-185 need some additional aero work on the ass end of the Pantera...its still gonna be a handful.
