Not a Pantera mis-identification but an interesting one.  A few weeks ago at Road America some guy thought my Noble was a Karmann Ghia.  I have had all kinds of guesses from Ferrari to Lotus to Porsche and others but a VW was really a good one.  I actually used to own a Karmann Ghia and it is clearly not similar.
 
Here's my car for reference if you don't know what a Noble is.  I consider it a cousin of the Pantera since it is a mid engine Ford powered car.

Gassing up before departure a mechanic told another that my car was a "kit" on a Fiero chassis.
And that it had a V6.  When I told him it was a real car, he then told his "crew" that it was a real Ferrari.

I said NO, it is a REAL car.  I don't think he understood the joke.

Anyway, for those that took photos of the Concourso, my car had the DeTomaso umbrella along side.
If anyone took good photos let me know.  My main computer motherboard took a dump, and until I
build the replacement I have limited access to my digital photos.  I am currently denied access from loading
my new website due to this.
