[DeTomaso] PARTS IN OIL PAN?

Well so far it isn't a helicoil, very smooth nothing like it would
thread into anything. Or anything in the oil filter, it was a FRAM
filter, after cutting it open it looked to be very cheap?  But nothing
missing inside either.  Car guys & gales I show it to think it was a
spring. There is a hole next to where the oil filter screws into, whats
in there?
