[DeTomaso] NEW ENGINE FIRES - THE DAWG IS BACK!!!!

You know how you KNOW a new engine is going to fire but you have that nagging feeling right up and until the engines fires because you really don't know until it does fire?......Maybe my nose was just too buried in the bark of the tree and I wasn't seeing that big big picture in the sky yesterday but today it could not have went any better then it did.
   
  And praise the Pantera Gods, she fired on the 1st turn of the key....no smoke, no leaks just all the right sounds coming out of the engine and the 180 headers.  
   
  It was as several of you suggested the old MSD 6AL BOX that was the problem on start up yesterday......... Dick Drenske and I replaced  the MSD  box and the coil tonight when we got home from work and as quick as it took me to jump in the Pantera and turn the key the engine lite up immediately. Sweeeeeeet Mama!  
   
  So a big thanks to Dick Drenske for sheparding the R&R and keeping the faith and doing all the serious wrenching.  And an equally big thanks to "Russ Fulps" who built the new stroker engine who was on the telephone with us both last night and again  this morning just to see if we needed anything else.   And to ALL of you who wrote or called and helped me pull my big dago nose out of the bark of the tree a mocho grass to you all.
