[DeTomaso] Rear window removal

Hi, could someone review the procedure to remove the rear window.  I know its 
just a matter of lifting up the rubber gasket and pushing the window out a 
little at a time, but it is not working and I don't want to break the glass.  
Any suggestion, short of breaking the glass will be appreciated.  To all the 
people that said the engine compartment clean up is just a weeks worth of work or 
scraping and sanding, you lied, but it really saved my butt.
