[DeTomaso] LPC- or Maybe PC, Wiring Help

Doug,

I'm not sure where you're located, but I'm gona guess a big city? Jim is in
Oklahoma and I've found that the smaller town NAPA stores tend to be much
more "old school" and will actually keep on hand boxes of misc. stuff.

I'm not sure what size boots you need, but I've seen lots of Fords that had
boots on the terminals of the OEM starter solenoids, so you might just pick
a random mass produced Ford model and see if that gets you anywhere.

Good luck,

Gray

Jim,

When I asked for the same thing at my local NAPA, all I got was a
blank
stare. They had no idea how to look it up. Do you happen to have a NAPA
number for the boot you bought so I can ask by part number?

When I had to replace the boot on the large wire that goes to the starter on
my '73 I went to NAPA and they had a box full of different sizes and
configurations. Easy to find one that worked.

Just my experience
Jim Gray
