It won't. You need to take the "horizontal mounts" off the transaxle...I had
to make a "special tool" for this, a reduced height socket with a handle
welded to it.

The guide pins, no motor mount loosening, shims/blocks under the back of the
pan over the crossmember, don't break the back window, all good suggestions.
I would add disconnect/loosen the water hose to the swirl tank, disconnect
the exhaust pipes too.

In your picture it looks like you removed the three nuts on either side of
the ZF to the mounting AL casting that goes into the frame clevis, is this
what I should be doing?  I was trying to lift the entire ZF with the Al
mountings over the clevis.
