The OEM radio is about 1.5x larger than the Alpine 7822 that I had put in. The pocket could have remained, but it would have needed a cheesy looking filler plate between the pocket and the radio. Soooo, I have one available if anyone is interested. BTW the stereo upgrade consisted of Alpine 7822 AM/FM/CD head unit wired to Boston Acoustic Rally RC51 speakers. All I can say is WOW!. What a combo. The separate flush-mount tweeters replace any need for headrest speakers. After a few $$$'s are saved up I've got my eyes on a 100w amp to push a little more power. Last night was our anniversary, and REQUIRED a top down cruise to a great restaurant, followed by an even nicer top down cruise, Enya playing in the new stereo, clear warm summer night, top-down cruising throught the Texas hill country. It don't get no better folks! Greg Bassett Pres. Bluebonnet Chapter - MCA 95 Red Base Team Voodoo Team Two-Timer
