The Capri was never a good car, mediocre at best, its best point
being the barely capable 2+2 seats and its body style.  Consumer
reports said it was a poor-mans Miata, Road and Track did not
have even the smallest raves either except its lower price.

I'm not surprised its gone.  It wasn't worth keeping.
